We launched www.caacareers.com on May 18th and as of today the site has had 5,628 visitors and 28,771 page views. Impressive figures indeed. What’s even more encouraging is the amount of job applications the site is generating. As well featuring ‘live vacancies’ candidates can also register their interest in a number of ‘recurring key roles’. Traditionally these roles can be quite difficult to fill but with the new website the Civil Aviation Authority is already building a ‘talent pool’ of suitable candidates.
The site was designed with a number of objectives in mind:
• To give the CAA a greater presence online as an employer
• To show the breadth of opportunities on offer at the CAA
• To drive all job applications online
• To build a talent pool of great candidates
All of this is backed up by an ongoing SEO strategy and so far it seems to be working very well.
