At 360°, we’ve long been advocates of the benefits of collaborative networks.

A collaborative network offers customers the power, knowledge and talent of a number of highly successful businesses whose activities and output are focused by a lead network partner (in this case, us).

We have recently started working in just such a way with Greg Brown and Sintia Drebniece from GB Executive Solutions. Sintia met our own Graeme Holiday a while back and they discussed, amongst other things, the benefits of a creative advertising approach – an approach that requires a one-off ad with a nailed down proposition that will target the type of person the role requires.

So, when West Sussex PCT contacted Sintia because they needed help in recruiting an Area Director, Sintia remembered Graeme, picked up the phone and contacted us about developing a one-off creative ad.

West Sussex PCT had been having problems recruiting for this role. The previous advertising had been fine at achieving a response but none of the applicants had the skill set required.

So, a proposition was defined – display a role that is ‘the brain of the organisation’ – someone who needs to make decisions. The creative team were briefed. Heads were scratched. Ideas were scamped. Three creative routes were suggested. Sintia picked her favourite. The ad ran in The Sunday Times. And it worked.

The best thing to come out of this, of course, is that we now have a new business partner in GB Executive Solutions.
