Uploading a recruitment video is not always plain sailing

I’ve been trying to upload videos direct to the blog for a couple of days now without much luck. In fact I think I’m going to admit defeat for now - work to do and all that. I have just discovered a quick fix though. It’s a cheat but you can simply upload the video onto Youtube or Dailymotion etc and then embed a link into the blog - as I’ve done here.

The reason for all this is that I want to show off some of the recruitment videos we’ve produced recently. So, now I have my quick fix here’s one of the recruitment videos we shot for inclusion on the recently launched careers website for The Yachts of Seabourn.

I’m sure we’ll be talking more about the importance of video for recruitment purposes in the coming months but one thing to point out about the videos on www.seabourncareers.com is that after the careers themselves the videos are the most viewed area of the website (Google analytics in action). Who wants to read a mission statement when you can watch and listen to Irini or Andre and learn exactly what working life is like on board Seabourn Pride?
